The French boot brand Palladium started out in 1920 as a company that made aircraft tyres from vulcanisation, but at the end of the war it reinvented itself. Its name reminds us of the statue in Troy of Athena, the goddess protector of the city. The owners of the brand wanted to symbolise the safety and protection that characterised their products, specifically their boots. As they had experience in the manufacture of canvas and rubber, after the war they reinvented themselves and began to manufacture shoes, thus Palladium Boots was born. And in response to the needs of the soldiers, The Pampa was born, their first boot which became the first original shoe adopted by the Foreign Legion. They were comfortable, durable, and made history as part of the uniform of one of the most legendary forces in history. Since then, this is their flagship model that they have been renewing with different fabrics, shapes, fabrics and details. But always just as light and resistant, and with the same emblematic design. In 1960, they expanded their audience beyond the military and focused on French families fond of hiking, expeditions and camping activities. They triumphed for their designs, tough protection, lightness and mountain aesthetics.

In 1968 Palladium took to the streets and dressed the young revolutionaries in Paris with their new tennis sneakers. Their lightness and comfort allowed young people to walk on long marches. Pallatennis sneakers became a symbol of freedom and were the sneakers of choice for a generation of young Frenchmen. In 1970, they entered the world of sport and produced the Pallabasket, sneakers for basketball players. They also made their mark in tennis. When the French brand arrived in America in 1980, they mimicked the gay community and became a key element of their uniform, becoming a symbol of pride and empowerment. In the 90s they dared with colour ranges and reinvented their vintage models in different fashionable colours of the time. And also at that time they positioned themselves on the most rock-and-roll stages of the moment.

They are also known for being pioneers in the ecological manufacture of their shoes since 1991, with 100% organic cotton. Today, Palladium dresses the feet of daring young people in changing cities full of art and revolutionary ideas.
